Education: Andrew holds a BA Combined Honours degree in International Business and French from the University of Plymouth in the UK.

Career: Andrew has worked in the building materials industry since 1999. The first half of his career was with Lafarge in The UK in various commercial roles in the aggregates business, before moving into trading, based in Switzerland. In 2016 he moved to the US with Lafarge Holcim trading and prior to joining Heidelberg Materials in 2021, he was the Managing Director of Jamaica Aggregates, a joint venture in the Caribbean between Holcim and Jamaica Premix.

Title: General Director of Trading - APAC

Education: Giorgio attended Commercial Technical Institute, where he excelled in Accounting and Commerce. He has strengthened his specialization with certificates in International Business & Finance Management and Strategic Coal Procurement.

Career: Giorgio commenced his professional journey at Italcementi Group in 2000 where he worked for 16 years, holding several roles for internal group companies such as Italcementi SPA (Sales and Marketing Dept./Italy), GACEM Ltd (The Gambia) as General Manager, Interbulk Trading as Area Manager for South-East Asia & Far East (Thailand) and as General Manager for Arabian Gulf, Asia & Pacific Area in UAE. In 2016 he joined Heidelberg Materials as Senior Trade Manager in HM Trading Dubai office. In 2017, he relocated to Singapore Office, where in early 2023 he was promoted to General Director of Trading APAC.

Title: General Director of Trading – Europe & Africa

Education: He holds a degree in Statistical Science from Rome University “La
Sapienza”, and a post-graduate degree in Strategic and International Marketing from SDA Bocconi (Milan) after having attended the International Executive Programme at “Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires” (INSEAD).

Career: He started his career at Hewlett-Packard as a Business Analyst. He joined Italcementi Group as a Marketing Analyst Coordinator and has been responsible for Cement Commercial activities in Egypt. He was appointed as Assistant to the CEO of Italcementi. He was the Managing Director of Interbulk Trading before joining HMT. Since January 2017, he is General Director of Trading for Europe & West Africa. He is Board member in HM Trading GmbH, Interbulk Trading SA and Vassiliko Cement Works Ltd.

Title: Chief Financial Officer

Education: Giorgi holds a master’s degree in Economics from Central European University. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Georgian Technical University.

Career: Giorgi was serving as the Finance Director at Heidelbergcement Kazakhstan before joining HM Trading. Effective April 1, 2024, he has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of HM Trading.

Title: Chief Human Resources Officer

Education: Khizraa holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Pakistan and a MSc in Human Resources Management from The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom, and a CIPD Associate Degree in Human Resources Development.

Career Overview: Khizraa is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience across various sectors including Development, Banking, Finance, and Media. She previously served as Head of HR at Forbes Middle East before joining Heidelberg Materials Trading in 2018 as Regional HR Manager. In January 2022, she was promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer.

Title: Shipping Director

Education: Willem holds a degree in Nautical Science from Rotterdam Nautical College. He speaks English, Danish, Dutch, and German.

Career: With over 25 years of global shipping experience, Willem most recently served as the Head of Chartering & Marine Operations at Midstar Shipping in Dubai, with a strong background in leadership roles across diverse regions, including Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and the Far East. Since October 2023, he has been serving as the Shipping Director at HM Trading, based in Dubai.
